Beckham and Robinson dropped.

...Ahead of tonights game.
FishingRod

I'm pleased with it. Regardless of everything else, the guy's not fit, played poorly in the friendly last week and hasn't kicked a ball in anger for months.
MKarmy

Surely Aaron Lennon will be getting a call up, surely? :?
Tom_Torquay

I'm still laughing at the fact that people still think Beckham is our best player.

Im laughing at the fact that people think its Gerrard. When Beckham is fit, he is our best player. I dare say most committed.
Lampard, what a waste of fucking space he has been for England. Then you get the likes of Gareth Barry, who walks in and looks a different class to all these England "Superstars".

What a shamble. But lets all blame the man incharge.

Beckham tonight should of at least been on the bench, as he hasn't played much football, and I agree, Beckham is England's best player.

No excuse for dropping him first time around though when he was playing week in week out for Real Madrid and playing well. He upped his form and was at one point last season the best player in Europe.

Every team has a scape goat, England's is Beckham. If you asked people why Beckham should be dropped most of them, if not all of them couldn't give you a straight answer.....Rather sad. For someone who has done so much for our poor excuse of a national football team, to be treated like this, is disgracful. And these are the same people licking Gerrards arse, for what???

His Goal against Argentina, his freekick against Greece (which got us to the world cup)....his crosses that have lead to goals, his freekicks that have lead to goals. His presences in the camp, raise morale, he holds parties for the lads. etc etc Not mentioning what he does for the community.

People never think about what they say first, they let their silly ego's get ahead of them. If Tom looked at the hardcore facts, he would know. Yes, Beckhams days are becoming numbered, as the youth come through the only way is forward and when Beckham is dropped for that reason and that reason alone, I will be happy knowing that his dropping was due to making pathway for the future and Im sure Beckham will be more than happy to make that pathway for the youth...I sincerely hope Beckham comes to manage England one day, I also hope he shuts all the doubters up.

Thats the end of my Lunchtime rant, Im back off to work.

Come On England.

I think the time for Beckham to be dropped is now, all the players we're holding back, i.e, Lennon, SWP etc...Beckhams had he career with England, let someone else have their turn.
Tom_Torquay

Anyways my prediction for tonight.

2-1 England.
Mippy

1-0 England
FishingRod

Not confident about this match....I think we'll fudge it up

1-0 Croatia
MKarmy

2-0 England.

Also quick mention to N. Iron, good luck, another home nation that could qualify.
Come on you N.Iron

Me too mate , he's the most over rated footballer the world has ever known

Hair cuts - fame - flashy cars houses , blah blah , bar taking free kicks and crosses he brings nothing to a team and i'd imagen his team mates get sick of him and hios circus act !

Well, lastnight, all I can say is Ouch!
FishingRod

Something else which is quite worrying.

Im gutted, truly gutted. I felt like crying. Only thing is now, is that I don't have to worry about England and all the pressure when we play.

Thanks England, for the heartbreak, but you'll still pick up your massive pay cheque. Tossers.
PhilR&D

Very disappionted with England...

I like the way they booted McClaren out, Its all his fault, isn't it? Sack they players, some of them are not fit to wear the shirt.

Well roll on a boring summer, or even worse, a shitty Home Nations Cup.
MKarmy

To be honest, I can't say Im suprised....weak team and No passion. A nice peacful summer
Marco
