If anybody who's been told about this and wants to know what on earth the person telling them was on about, read these two extracts - one from a friend of mine and another from a poster from another forum.
'there was a kick off near the coaches which seemed to be quite serious. i was walking back to the coach when some cockney woman was arguing with some everton fans who were waiting outside their coaches. apparently one of them called her a fat slag and then the next thing she went over and hit this lad. she then walked off crying and calling them all wankers, before it all seemed to spiral out of control involving the lads who were there (but i'd walked up the road a bit and couldn't see too well so not sure). then some barnes boys sprinted past me presumably to join in, and the next thing there was a mass of shouting and fighting. i was stood on a garden wall about 25 metres away trying to get a better view, and then loads of police came charging past (about 30 of them), and a few riot vans sped past.'
'Yeh all kicked off.
Before the game outside the central pub aswell, there was group of young West Ham lads obviously thinking they were big time giving it loads.
On the way back I litterally just got onto the coach, looked out the window and people where banging on it throwing stuff at it.
Then the other side there was a brawl with some fella being kicked in his shirt ripped off.
Then all the Barnes lads ran off and joined in before one policeman with a baton seperated it all! |
